An Ode
Dear EOP,
You always come to me when I speak Korean.
You bring the long sentences with you.
I read you, memorize you.
You always stay with me when I am studying, eating even sleeping.
You always stay with me.
I don't want to be with you, but why you always stay with me.
Now it's time to say goodbye.
I go to the teacher and i gave you to him.
I only stayed a day with you, but it was really terrible and horrible.
I'm very glad to not see you again.
However, you will come to me again if I speak Korean.
I don't want to see you again.
Please go away and do not come back.
I will speak English and not speak Korean.
I wish I don't meet you again.
I saw you were with my friend.
I disappointed to you.
How you can go to my friend.
Even the day doesn't finish.
You are bad and he will also not want to be with you too.
Wacky Web Tales: An Ode
Radio Announcer: Thank you for tuning in today. We are here in Seoul to celebrate National Poetry Month. In just a moment, the nation's poet laureate, Obama, will read a poem about an apple. And here is Obama.
Obama: Thank you, everyone. This is a very dangerous poem I wrote about an apple.
An Ode to an Apple
The apple is as big as an orange.
It reminds me of small oranges swimming.
O, the apple. O, the apple!
What do beautiful people think when they see you for the first time?
Perhaps they know there are happy days ahead.
O, the apple. O, the apple!
For some, you are dirty, but for others, you are sexy.
If we are sleeping, we pause when we think of you.
May you always eat.
O, the apple. O, the apple!
The end.
Radio Announcer: On behalf of the poets, thank you for eating.

History Presentation: The Works of Al-Khwarizmi (780 AD - 850 AD)
Today, I will talk about the works of Al-Khwarizmi. Al-Khwarizmi was the mathematician who gave us the word algebra and introduced the idea of zero to the Western world. He was also a geographer and astronomer. He measured the length of one degree of the meridian of the earth. He also studied the stars. He dedicated a book of tables describing the movements of the sun, the moon, and the planets to the caliph who is the sovereign of the Islamic Empire.
He gave us the word algebra and introduced the idea of zero to the Western world. He wrote book called Al-jabr wa-al-muqabala which menas "Completing and Balancing." In medieval Europe, the word algebra came to have wider meaning than just completing equations. Algebra helped people solve problems connected with the complex Muslim laws of inheritance. In a book called Addition and Subtraction by the Method of Calculation of the Hindus, he introduce the idea of zero to the Western world. He used a dot to indicate a column with no beads, and called the dot sunya, which means empty. When the idea was adopted by the Arabs, they usedthe symbol "0" instead of a dot and called it sifr. This gave us our word cipher. Two hundred and fifty years later, the idea of sifr reached Italy, where it was called zenero, which became "zero" in English. The idea of zero as a symbol came before zero as a number. Zero, as a number, answers the question "How many?" It is, however, a strange number.
Al-Khwarizmi did not limit his interests to mathematics. He wrote a book on geography called The Book of the Form of the Earth. The book contains lists of longitudes and latitudes for various cities, mountains, seas, islands, and rivers. He grouped places according to the amount of daylight on the longest day of the year. Some of his information came from Ptolemy's Geography, but al-Khwarizmi's book is more than just a translation of the earlier work. His world map is more accurate than Ptolemy's, particularly in areas that had been converted to the Muslim religion.
Al-Khwarizmi also studied the stars. Caliph al-Ma'mun appointed him to the post of court astronomer. By way of thanks, al-Khwarizmi dedicated a book of tables describing the movements of the sun, the moon, and the planets to the caliph. The tables could be used for predicting eclipses of the moon and the sun. Some of the information came from records mad in Baghdad, but al-Khwarizmi also drew on Hindu wisdom and on Ptolemy's tables. He used commentaries that had been made four centuries earlier by Theon and Hypatia of Alexandria.

Speech: Hip Hop Culture
Hip-hop music or rap music is an admired and famous style or genre of music in the USA. This well-known music genre is made up of two components, rapping and record scratching. Rapping is also known as MCing and DJing, which comprises of audio mixing. These two main components combined with graffiti and break dancing form the four core elements of hip-hop.
Hip-hop was initiated as a cultural movement by inner-city youth, mostly Latinos, Hispanics, and African Americans in New York City, in the early seventies. The word "rap" was derived in the sixties, from a slang word that meant conversation.
Hip-hop has two main historical eras, the old school hip-hop era from 1970-1985 and the golden age hip-hop era from 1985-1993. The golden age of hip-hop began only when it entered the mainstream of music and it consolidated the sounds of the West Coast and the East Coast.
The origin of hip-hop music is from African American and West African music. Contributions of griots like The Last Poets, Jalal Mansur Nurriddin, and Gil Scott-Heron were significant in a big way for the advent of hip-hop in the 1960s. Hip-hop had originally begun in the Bronx. Funk and soul music were played a lot in block parties. In the beginning, the DJs at these parties began separating the percussion breaks from hit songs. They started realizing that these breaks were more entertaining and groovy. This technique had become widespread in Jamaica and had spread considerably in the New York community via the Jamaican immigrants.
Kool DJ Herc and Grandmaster Flash were the pioneers in the hip-hop industry and other DJs had extended the short percussion interludes of funk records and created a more danceable sound. As a result, remixes had become popular with the advent of mixing and scratching techniques. Many styles of hip-hop had developed in the golden age of hip-hop.
At present, hip-hop is enjoyed all around the world. In spite, of all the controversies created by hip-hop artists they are still growing in number. Hip-hop music is sold all over the world in stores and even online.
Viral Video: Eric Cantona's Kung Fu Kick
Eric Cantona is a French soccer player who led the golden age of 'Manchester United.' Many soccer fans love him and many young soccer player admire him. He is one of the best soccer players in history, but he was short-tempered and he made many problems in the matches. This video is the most popular problem that Eric Cantona did. In the match with 'Crystal Palace' in January 25, 1995, he got a red card because of the revenge tackle. When he was coming to the bench, one audience shouted abuse to him and he got angry and he kicked the audience. Because of this incident, Eric Cantona got 9 months of prohibition of participation.
Later in the interview he said, "When I did the kung fu kick on the hooligan, because these kind of people don't have to be at the game. I think maybe it's like a dream for some, you know sometimes to kick these kind of people." He claimed that he had punished the hooligan who must not be at the game. Of course Cantona is guilty, but the incident happened because of the audience's abuse. I think both Cantona and the audience is guilty, if the audience didn't shout Cantona the abuse, that incident might not happen. Also, if Cantona ignored the audience and came in, that incident might not happen.
